Laura Innes plays Senator Rosalind Thurman, who chairs the Iran Committee in the Before Times timeline. Charlotte Keene steered Daniel toward the senator's committee, and in S3E6 the remotely controlled van delivers Daniel and Helen to Thurman and a "help save the world" proposition - positioning her as the recruiter, and possibly architect, pulling the Keenes into the plan behind the silos.
