Anna emerges in the Before Times as a possible architect of where the Keenes end up. The strongest fan read after S3E9 is that her love for Charlotte drives cruel decisions: she may have arranged for Daniel to be placed near Silo 1 (and near Charlotte) while Helen is pushed toward Silo 18.

S3E9The Daniel/Helen separation is left deliberately murky; one detailed fan theory casts Anna as having the motive, awareness and means to ensure Daniel was placed near Silo 1, possibly using Henry to arrange it.
