Rick Gomez plays Patrick Kennedy, a Silo 18 relic dealer and black-market operator tied to the forbidden-object economy. In S3E6 the Voice approves him and Lukas for the Silo 17 mission, apparently believing it has trapped Juliette into weaker choices - but Patrick's knowledge of relics, smuggling routes and surviving outside the rules may make him exactly the off-grid scout a dead-silo expedition needs.

S3E7Pays off the "underestimated pick" read: after the pair are ambushed outside, it is Kennedy's voice that breaks through on the radio, reaching Silo 17 and confirming the children are alright. The least mission-minded man becomes the mission-critical survivor - a "Silo 17 radio witness" whose contact aborts the reckless Judicial bombing and turns Silo 17 into a live information source.

Where the community lands

Fans read Patrick as the deliberately underestimated half of the mission: if reaching and reading Silo 17 needs rule-breaking, relic-handling and improvisation rather than mechanical repair, he and Lukas are the real intended team. The counter-worry is that as an outsider to the resistance he is expendable, and the Voice already warns the pair will never make it.
