Rebecca Ferguson plays Juliette Nichols, a Mechanical engineer from the Down Deep who is made sheriff, uncovers the silo's buried lies, refuses to clean, and walks over the hill to survive - reaching the dead Silo 17. She returns to Silo 18 in Season 2. Season 3 finds her the silo's reluctant figurehead, reportedly amnesiac after the incinerator fire.

S1E8Her mother Hanna took her own life after Judicial destroyed the unsanctioned magnifier she built - the wound that drove Juliette down to Mechanical.

S2E3Reaches Silo 17 and meets Solo, its lone survivor. The silo is a flooded, decades-dead ruin.
