The Hunt
The ritual by which the starving group "lets the wilderness choose" who dies to feed the rest.

As starvation sets in, the group formalizes cannibalism into a ritual: a deck of cards is drawn, the marked card names the prey, and the "hunt" chases them to death. It is the wilderness religion's central sacrament.

Where the community lands
