Father Rudra Khatri (Shaun Majumder) died in the S1 finale protecting Sara Myers during the Colony House attack. the show's first death that felt genuinely sacrificial rather than chaotic. He mattered enough for the town to keep using him: S4E7 brought Khatri's ghost back as a guide for Boyd, and his most significant canonical moment may have been his answer to Boyd's question about nightmares turning real. Khatri said 'maybe.' That single word is the most direct in.show endorsement of any fan theory to date.
